Patrice is the author of the thrift shopping book Looking Fly on a Dime: How to Find Fabulous Fashion at Any Thrift Shop & Make the Cheap Look Chic. Her writing has appeared in numerous lifestyle publications, including Travel+Leisure, USA Today, and Fodor’s.

In addition to writing, Patrice also shares her expertise on-air with segments on the Today Show, WEtv, and The Nate Berkus Show, and she was the Savvy Shopper reporter for WPIX in New York City. 


Patrice received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Temple University.
